‘One complete human foot phalanx, 1st distal, with deformed proximal articular surface – a sign of a joint disease. The bone is very porous and white in appearance. From the adult burial ARCHNN.2687, published as ‘Balevullin 3′ (Armit et al, 2015, Proceedings of the Prehistoric Society 81). Mann Collection.’
