NL 95924 47290 A possible settlement mound, 3m high and
25 x 2m on its flat summit, sits in the middle of the Balevullin
machair. Six stones can be seen on its N face. The mound is
near the site excavated by Bishop and Mann in 1912, which
was thought to be Iron Age. (Discovery and Excavation in Scotland (2017) 18, p. 61.
